Don't let me down (Comment on Albert's blog)
Letting someone down is basically when you disappoint someone by the fact that you were supposed to do something or take a responsibility and you didn't show up your effort or even tried. There are a lot of people who always trust in me, and as a person, I try to do my best every time in whatever I do in order to make them proud. It is a great example to consider a family with their children growing up to see the real meaning of this expression . In many cases we try not to disappoint our parents by doing more effort than we can in the daily tasks and problems we face as human beings . As teenagers we think (at least in my case), that giving a stunning performance in university, or tidying up our entire room everyday should be enough to make them happy, but that's not the point. An achievement in school, or a trophy in a sport, doesn't define how hard we've tried and how far we've gone , and they know. In my opinion, personal success is not co...
